Time table and useful tips to memories the Quran

For the students and parents of hifz class

  • Spend 35 to 40 minutes to learn your next day sabaq before going to sleep.
  • The optimum time to memorize the Quran is shortly after Fajr prayer in the morning. (When the Fajr is early in summer then wake up 1 hour before going to school) Spend 30 to 50 minutes memorizing the Quran after doing the prayer and before eating breakfast. At this time of day, the mind is calm and has a great capacity for information absorption.
  • During the class read to sabaq in the first 25 minutes then spend the entire class time learning sabaqi (also known as sabaq para) and manzil (also known as dawr).

Class times

Class times for the hifz students are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday from 7am till the children leave for school.
  • 30 minutes online (this collective class on zoom).
  • Saturday 1 hour 30 minutes class in the morning online.
  • 5pm to 7pm onsite Monday to Friday
  • If anyone did not manage to read any of the above mentioned

(Sabaq, Sabaqi, Manzil) during the class times then online class will take place on Zoom till 11pm

  • The students can learn at home then call to read up till 11pm whenever it suits them.

Note 1: Please note all of these online teachings and extra support  is free from ustadji.

Note 2: at home it is the duty of the parents to insure that the children are learning according to the above mentioned timetable.

Note 3: parents please make sure that their child completes 1 juz of the Quran every month (12 juz hifz every year)

Note 4: this schedule will take effect from 1 July 2022.
